A Shifter Solves Big Problem

In 2016, an accident caused young and strong Duan Xiangsheng to spend all his family's savings on high paraplegia, high treatment and rehabilitation costs. Fortunately, his wife, Song Jin'e, never gave up. She propped up the whole family with her thin body, and insisted that her husband of more than 150 kilograms be taken out of bed every day in order to prevent pressure sores. But now, Song Jin'e has been found to have diabetes, her physical strength is not as good as before, and she worries that she can no longer hold her husband.

At the end of 2018, volunteers from Liangshan County went to Yuhua Village, Zhaowu Town to visit Duan Xiangsheng and his wife. After returning, they held a meeting to discuss how they could help the couple. Finally, we decided to allocate 5,000 yuan from 70 volunteers to buy an electric lift and displacement machine. Recently, when the machine arrived, volunteers rushed it to Duan Xiangsheng's home.

Volunteers chatted about Duan Xiangsheng's illness and assembled the machine quickly. With the concerted efforts of all of us, the first test of the electric elevator and shifter was successful.
