1. Rules of Competition

2. Functional grading

According to the athletes'different trunk movement ability in shooting, passing, rebounding, dribbing and moving wheelchairs, they are divided into 8 points: 1, 1.5, 2, 2.5, 3, 3.5, 4, 4.5. The total score of five athletes on the field should not exceed 14 points. In the course of the competition, the sum of the medical grades of the players in any team can not exceed 14 points at any time. Otherwise, the coach will be sentenced to a technical foul and be corrected immediately.

3. Competition mode

Each game is divided into four sections, each section 10 minutes, 1, 2 sections, 3, 4 sections rest 2 minutes, 15 minutes between the first half and the second half. If the score is the same at the end of the fourth quarter, one or more extra-time games need to be continued until the game is won or lost. 4. Special Provisions

The rules of wheelchair basketball are basically the same as those of the International Basketball Federation except for the following special provisions:

Players dribble while pushing the wheelchair or dribble alternately. When the ball is placed on the leg, it cannot be clamped between the legs. Every time the wheelchair is pushed once or twice, it must be dribbled once. Otherwise, it would be illegal.

(1) It is illegal for wheelchair tilt to touch the ground at any part except tire.

(2) When an athlete falls on the court, service personnel shall not enter the competition venue without the permission of the referee.

(3) In order to gain advantage in the competition, it is a foul to leave the wheelchair seat on the hip and land on the foot.

(4) The total disability score of five players on the court exceeds 14 points and will be judged as a technical foul.

2. Equipment of wheelchair basketball court

The Paralympic wheelchair basketball court is the same as the Olympic basketball court. Wheelchair is a special equipment in the competition. There are the following requirements:

1. The thickness of wheelchair cushion should not exceed 10 cm. For athletes with 3.5, 4 and 4.5 points, the thickness of wheelchair cushion should not exceed 5 cm. No boards or hard objects can be attached to the seat. The cushion should be uniform in thickness, and its hardness can be folded diagonally.

The maximum distance between the horizontal bar in front of the wheelchair shelf and the ground should not exceed 11 cm.

2. The height of the supporting bars on both sides of wheelchair seats from the ground should not exceed 53 cm (the vertical distance from the surface to the ground).

3. Wheelchairs should have 3-4 wheels - 2 large wheels are installed at the back of the wheelchair, and 1 or 2 small wheels are installed at the front of the wheelchair. Including tires, the maximum diameter of the wheel is 69 cm. The overall height of the wheelchair should not exceed 53 centimeters, and there should be no projections or sharp objects.

4. There must be a handwheel on each big wheel.

5. Protective devices must be installed under the wheelchair footrest to prevent damage to the competition venue.

6. It is not allowed to install control equipment, power devices, brakes and gears on chairs.

7. It is not allowed to use tyres that leave traces on the ground.

8. Arms and other upper-body support devices in wheelchairs should not exceed the length of the legs and trunk when athletes naturally sit in wheelchairs.

9. One or two anti-tilt wheels can be installed behind the wheelchair to protect athletes'safety, but the height of the surface under the wheelchair should not exceed 2 cm from the ground.

10. The front or front side of the wheelchair may be equipped with a protective horizontal bar, which may be straight or bent, but may not be pointed and extended forward.

11. Since wheelchair basketball shooting requires a certain preparation process, the referee should not calculate three seconds when the player starts shooting.
