2024 Shaanxi Provincial Wheelchair Obstacle Race for People with Disabilities

On March 21, 2024, the 8th China Disabled Ice and Snow Sports Season Special Event and the Shaanxi Provincial Wheelchair Obstacle Race for the Physically Disabled were held at Yunhan Square in Kunmingchi Qixi Park, Xixian New District, attracting the attention of many players and audiences.

This competition has three categories: manual wheelchairs, electric wheelchairs and machine-head wheelchairs, aiming to provide a platform for people with physical disabilities to show themselves and challenge themselves. During the competition, the contestants showed their bravery, tenacity and perseverance, winning warm applause and cheers from the audience.

After fierce competition, the top three players in each group stood out, and the organizing committee awarded them trophies and certificates in recognition of their outstanding performance. In addition, one person each was selected for the Hard-working Award, the Best Organization Award, and the Moral Style Award to commend them for their spirit and excellent qualities displayed in the competition.

The holding of this competition not only provides an opportunity for people with physical disabilities to show themselves and challenge themselves, but also further promotes the development of sports for people with disabilities. I believe that in the days to come, the wheelchair obstacle course for people with disabilities will become more and more exciting, bringing more hope and confidence to the majority of people with disabilities.
