Common faults and maintenance methods of wheelchairs

Fault 1: Tire perforation

1. Inflate the tires.

2. Feel strong when pinching off the tire. If it feels soft and can be pressed in, it may be due to air leakage or perforation of the inner tube.

Attention: When inflating, it is necessary to refer to the recommended tire pressure on the tire surface.

Fault 2: Rust

Visually inspect the surface of the wheelchair for brown rust spots, especially on the wheels, handwheels, wheel rims, and small wheels. Possible causes:

1. Wheelchairs are placed in damp places.

2. Wheelchairs are not regularly maintained and cleaned.

Fault 3: Unable to walk in a straight line

When the wheelchair slides freely, it does not slide in a straight line. Possible causes:

1. Loose wheels and severe tire wear.

2. Wheel color.

3. Tire punctures or leaks.

4. Wheel bearings are damaged or corroded.
