Up and down stairs in a wheelchair
The walking stairs in the building have many stages, steep slopes and small single-stage depth. Generally, it is not recommended to use the large wheel balance technology to pass through. Instead, it mainly relies on the strength of both arms and the handrails of the stairs to carry the wheelchair on the steps at all levels.
When climbing the stairs, turn your back to the steps, and bend your body to one side of the handrail. Pull the handrail of the stairs with one hand and the wheelchair push ring on the same side with the other hand, so that the small wheel in front of the wheelchair can be lifted off the ground, and both hands can continue to exert force to drive the wheelchair up each step.
When going down the stairs, keep your back to the steps, hold the handrails on the same side of the stairs with both hands and move down alternately, so that the wheelchair can drive down each step smoothly.
