back height. Generally speaking, the upper edge of the back should be about 10 cm under the armpit. The lower the back, the greater the range of motion of the upper body and arms and the easier it is to move. But if it is too low, the supporting surface will become smaller, which will affect the stability of the vehicle body. Therefore, elderly people with good balance and slight movement disorders can choose a wheelchair with a low back, otherwise they can choose a wheelchair with a high back.
